Privacy policy
Summary
ListoRead does not collect, store on servers, sell or share any personal data or the text you read. Everything happens locally in your browser.
What the extension processes
- Text you read (a selection, an article on the page, or text you paste) is processed only in your browser to show it word by word. It is not sent anywhere and is not saved after you close the reader.
- Settings (speed, font, theme, colors, language and similar options) are saved with
chrome.storage.localon your device so they are remembered next time.
What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party scripts.
- No accounts and no collection of browsing history.
- No transfer of data to us or to third parties.
Permissions
- activeTab, scripting — to open the reader on the page you are viewing, only when you start it.
- contextMenus — to add “Read with ListoRead” to the right-click menu.
- storage — to keep your settings on your device.
This website
listoread.com is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies. For anonymous visit statistics it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Future paid version
If a paid Pro version is offered, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider, and this policy will be updated before then.
